Just gonna put this out there. But when I use the roulette I seem to have the worst luck.. Does anyone else have this problem? I like to do the new dungeons. And when I'm online there's not many willing or able. So I accept that I should DF roulette. And the extra times are a bonus.
But I ALWAYS get a bad team. Not had a good team yet.. Lol
Anyone else have this fun?

Yeah, I'm glad im using duty roulette with my PLD. Getting a bad tank gets you nowhere.

Well the last 4 times ive done the low level roulette ive got ifirit, which is cool, 5 minutes for 100 tomes, Not everyone you meet in df who seems awful is in fact awful though some just need a little explanation as to what they should be doing (especially in the low level dungeons). The game itself doesn't explain the mechanics of tank very well especially for a newcomer to mmo's. I have had good teams, had a great one in coperbell hard the other day, but mostly i'd say ive had medicore teams which tbh is fine with me, if we get the job done im happy.

I must be unlucky. I wouldn't say I'm a bad tank. Or atleast I hope not.
But the roulette hates me. All it gives me is copperbell hard. Making me work for those 90 tomes with really bad teams of new 50s and stuff lol.
But I wanna keep at it cos I don't wanna just big you guys all the time. Was just wondering if it was just me having shit luck lol.

I've wound up with either Haukke or WP, and relativly decent groups. My luck skill seems to be paying off.

I get a lot of bad teams, but i get a lot of bad teams with party Finder and shouting for groups in general too so it doesn't surprise me. I've had more trouble with other DPS than tanks or Healers though, I mean i don't think I'm the DPS messiah or anything and BRD is by far the easiest DPS class but not meeting simple DPS checks in Haukke is kinda silly, or seeing Melee get feared, or BLM's smashing dozens of eggs in Pharos at a time and acting confused when it kills the tank or healer is just kinda unsettling. I wish I had a key board so i could explain mechanics and fights but i shouldn't have too for simple dungeons. That being said I've had plenty of great groups and I've had particularly good luck with Healers and some Tanks (They're no Temp, Enryu or Lafa but as long as you don't pull with Provoke and can hold threat your A OK in my book). All in all tho I expect some hiccups in Roulette and the extra tomes makes it worth it.

Not gonna lie, I'm freaking TERRIFIED to DFR high level dungeons. As often as I get shit parties in low level dungeons, I just can't even imagine trying to run Bukkake Manor HARDER, CB HM, or Pharos with a pugged group. I can only imagine it will end in tears, and table flips.

Yeah the DPS are always the problem. Except last night I had a healer that instantly died from rockslide or the second boss of copperbell hm lol.
I do like to try it for the extra tomes. Bit with my restricted times and not much time sometimes I'll have just 100monutes to log in and do a dungeon, and DFR seems to always kill me. And make me waste that 90 minutes xD
But I don't know. I still enjoy it. I keep going back xD glutten for punishment I guess.

With me it's a split between the dps and the healers being the problem, since I'm hitting it as a tank (dat BONUS!). I have either the dps that think they get to pull everything over and drop it on me like a bunch of fuck wits, or the healers that keep on cleric stance, and decide THEY should be the ones pulling, and then yell at ME for not getting agro and saving them.

Your WAR lvl 50 now? You can be my tank when I'm leveling dps thanks! lol Last nights healer was the only one I had a problem with. The second healer I got was awesome. He was part of one of the party's that sell titans and extremes and stuff I think lol. Anyway. I'm getting kicked outta work at 3am again so I'll be on for a good 6 hours tonight  |
