I'm currently worried about the lack of interest of doing end game content. By end game content, I mean mostly Extreme Mode Primals and Coil. For me Coil isn't that big of a problem, but I know Tempus has to almost drag people to come at times. And, from my experience, a lot of people are only caring about themselves and the loot they get and have no interest of the progression of the group as a whole: "I don't need to do Turn 1, cause I don't need any items there". Ok, be a selfish prick then.
And then we have the people that's geared enough for coil but seems to afraid to enter. No one should ever go against their will, but I don't understand their mind set. When I was progressing Coil it was BY FAR the most fun content in the game. Are you afraid because you're inexperienced? Most people these days clear turn 1 and 2 the first time without any real problems. People beat this shit in ak / dl gear, some with only primal weapons. If you don't want to do it, it's fine-- but you're missing out on the best content in the game.
Ex Primals. People who are overgeared to hell for the fight haven't even tried it. Like coil, this is also the best content in the game as of now. When I'm asking to do Primals no one ever naswers. Ok, one or two people. Which mean there'll be hard to get a competent group together.
TL;DR why aren't people doing more challenging content? Of course no one should be forced to do content they don't feel comfortable doing- but when they try, I think they'll quickly change their mind.
If the vast minority of the FC dont want to do the content I wanna do, I might have to consider my options.

Well I've been pugging coil - finally beat turn 1 yesterday thanks to a good call from TicTac for a PF party:), and I've also been pugging ultimas ballad but have yet to get a win there. As for Temp, I'd be keen to help if the times they ran were not like 1am for me on a work night. As for EX primal iv'e only every seen you ask once when im online (i've probably just missed it in chat the other times) But I do note that you want a competent group and maybe someone (myself) that dies multipul times on titan HM sometimes is not the best choice for a "competent" group as you would probably carry me through the fights which is no fun for you or me. I'm aware of my own limits (and the limits of my shit internet connection). As for the minority of the FC wanting to do harder content I doubt thats true, some may just feel they are not geared enough etc. Maybe for your sake we should be more aggressive with recruiting people to the FC that want to coil EX and so on. Instead of you "considering your options" which i read as "finding a new FC". In closing Im happy to do anything with you guys but if I land up being the one pulling the group down, lagging and disconnecting the fuck out all the time (I know that can get irritating) then I'll probably not join again. Thats my feelings, if it seems confrontational, believe me its not.

Yes, im speaking from my experience that people dont seem too interested. So it's like an evil circle regarding recruiting: why would a person who wants to do end game content join if others aren't that interested in doing it?
And you're a good player. Never doubt that. I've seen people do coil t1-4 and at least garuda ex who takes a lot of plumes to the face in titan hm.

I want to do all end game content I'm ready now 2. I want to do end game but don't think I'm ready/ I think im under geared/not good enough. 3. I have no interest in this hard stuff, someone give me a bunny to hug. So that instead of working off assumptions we have actual "research" lol.

As I said, I'm speaking of what I've been experiencing, and when other people in the FC tell me they feel the same way-- I, as an officer, need to bring it up. And I must say I feel a bit sad when I'm mostly running with other FCs or LS'. But as I said, if people don't want to do end game content, they have every right not to do it.

I'd love for more people in the FC to be a little more end-game interested. Mainly because I want to do end-game stuff myself, but I also want to do it with the people from the FC. The fights may be difficult and scary, but you don't have to be supergodly awesome at the game to beat bosses, it just takes knowing the strategies and practice. Lots of practice (just look at all teh fails and hundreds upon hundreds of deaths that the EU coil-group has streamed over these months). And yet, nothing feels as good as finally winning after all dem fails -PJ

I haven't been on lately so I've probably contributed somewhat to the lack of people willing to do endgame content. I think we have enough people willing to do the content but so many of us are divided by schedules and time zones it's hard to get a full party going. That being said, I know where Arya is coming from, some times it feels like it takes a lot of work to get a party together for a End game dungeon, even to just try.The reason I wanna do the Extreme Primals isn't to get gear but because it's fun. I have my Garuda Ring but i'll still run it because I like the fight, and there is no better way for people to find out the fights aren't scary but fun than to do it with the FC where there isn't so much pressure. We got one together for Garuda EX the other day and it was a largely FC party, including a lot of people who had never been before. And we wiped hard, but each attempt was better and I could tell people were definitely learning from the experience and most importantly it was FUN. Sometimes when I PUG in another group its all about winning and getting the gear but that kind of end game play wears on your nerves. It's not about people not being good enough or not getting the content done, it's about us being an FC that plays together. Honestly recruitment might be the way to go, having more people from a plethora of time zones might make it easier to get a party together. We shouldn't expand to quickly, I like that our FC is so close knit, but I think we have made enough of a name for ourselves on Cerberus that we could pull in some people looking to help fill out parties. Just my 2 cents anyway.

I want to do end game stuff. I'm actually not playing the game much anymore because I feel I'm not getting anywhere. Coil is very hard to find a group for, EX primals every time arya or someone asks I have to leave for work It's mainly my times. Which obviously you lot can't do anything about. But it's really putting me off the game. Which is a shame cos up until recently I was really enjoying it. Now I just feel ridiculously overgeared for the content I'm doing. But there is plenty of people wanting to do end game, I feel maybe your reputation and usual group may be off putting to some people. Me included. I feel I won't be good enough to group with you as I'm not amazing skilled in MMO games. I don't ask if you wanna do them because I don't wanna fuck it up for you. (This is just my opinion) But. On another note. If you are up for trying some EX this weekend. I can get online and join in.

I spend so much of my time lately either in a craft, or leveling other battle classes. Yeah, I have Drg at 50, and yeah, I have some Myth tome stuff, but to be honest... I'm max level on that, I'm not getting XP, and I have to keep beating my head into a wall over and over and over in the hopes that I might just get carried through Coil, or a Primal XM. I'm just not really that interested in it, because I'm enjoying doing other things, and I don't like being frustrated/angry.
That being said, if someone tells me they NEED me, then yes I'll go, with the warning that I suck. If we could ever get our schedules straightened the hell out, I'd do Coil with Garth and Juno, because they need another party member, and I like being helpful. As for Arya, Pusur and Kanda... I cannot conceive of a world in which you guys would need MY pitiful deeps for ANYTHING. On top of that, you guys seem to start calling for that stuff when I'm making Coil food, or gear for someone, and frankly my advancement in endgame is less important to me than helping people.

Im all game for new experience and hard fights, but as it stands FC people rarely want to group with me, only a handfull do, that said i mostly end up idleing at some inn doing nothing while the rest is off fighting god knows what.
I gues that my bashing or random people has left people scared of grouping with me? or maby its the noobstamp dirake n drake put on me is still in effect... i dont know.

I feel ya on that, Arya. I find myself running with FFK, DTP, sometimes MAD and Fairy as well. ( Osa Talo has tried to get me to join ffk more than once xD). I want to do more endgame with the the fc. I really do. I know temp gets frustrated that we only have 4 people show up for NA coil regularly. Hell, I get frustrated. Only a hand full in the fc have cleared garuda ex, and more often than not, if I mention titan ex, I get silence. I get that people will always do what they want, when they want. But we have some real badasses in the fc, and theres really no reason we shouldnt be kicking ex primal ass, or breezing through coil 1-4. (Ive been to t5 a few time, shits no joke). They're challenging, and people don't go because they don't think they're good enough, which is bullshit. You go to learn. You keep going until you win.

Well, when people go straight to coil with a pug after reset it's not very easy to get a group together. Hence the only caring about themselves-stuff. And I agree with everything you say. I remember back when I lvld up. I was afraid to queue up for duty finder cause I didn't really believe in myself. And if you're completely new to for example garuda ex. Maybe try a couple times on your own so you know what to do and you'll realize the fight isn't that hard at all. Hell, I did ifrit ex with df and won, and it's suppose to be the hardest fight, and I can tell you one thing: once you know what to do, it becomes quite easy.
I have a lot of spare time in the weekend (I think), so we could probably get a group together - both with people who have exp and those who dont and you'll learn. I would rather wipe with my fc than beat it with random players. But most of all: I would like to kick those primal's ass with all my friends in our great FC. Yes, we will fail. Yes, people will fuck up. But how can you improve and get better if you're too afraid to fail? Hell, I've wiped 100 times on turn5, not getting the boss down to more than 50%.
And btw, lum. DTP guys <3

Well, count me in for weekend runs if you give me an estimate on a time. If you need a tank.
