The first beta starts on February 22 and ends on March 3.
During this session, players will not be able to import characters and all created characters will be wiped once the beta ends.
The Second Beta starts on April 4.
Players will be allowed to use their PS3 or PC characters and any new characters that are created will carry over to the full game.
Those who pre-order the collector's edition will gain early access to the game on April 11 and will also receive a fat Chocobo mount and wind-up Moogle minion pet. ( I asume the early access is granted to current CE holders just like the Minion and mount are)
So is anyone gonna hop in first one on feb 22?

I'm guessing they'll be sending codes out to the current owners? I will be trying the beta on ps4 I feel kinda bad for buying it and neglecting it lol.
Will it be multiple server choice like the last betas? And if so which will you people be choosing. Be fun to still have our little clan during the beta.

I'm gonna try for it. Think I might use the second beta to level up as a SMN/SCH or a BLM , I kinda wanna be a DPS Caster and use my bad ass child laugh.

Everyone who owns a ps4 can get in the beta, weather you have played ffxiv before or not. It's a very smary move on SE and Sonys side.

So.. I downloaded the beta, installed it. And when t got to the accept terms and conditions page it was tiny on my screen
Can't say I'm impressed with my ps4 at all at the moment.. REALLY hope that isn't how it's gonna play xD
Also I'm not impressed by this 2gb patch.. :/ with my internet I'll be lucky if it's done before coil time xD

Believe me, my Internet is worse than yours, I'm usually getting 0.49 download. And my upload is obviously gonna be just as bad.
Even though the router stats pages says it's 4.9mb and 700kb upload. And it's definately not that good. So fuck sky and their shit Internet!

And it's definately not that good. So fuck sky and their shit Internet! well yeah im quote what my router says, actuall speed tests reveal that internationally i have about 2.5mb and an upload of around 290k lol |

Beta impressions so far - it's freaking awesome, it's such a step up from the ps3 version in every way it's going to be hard to go back, even if there wasn't a free upgrade I'd buy another copy, it's great
