I dunno, I've just always enjoyed video games, they're fun... and these days they're like an interactive book or movie, so it's got ALL of my love. I mean the reason I like D&D is because it's basically a choose your own adventure book. I dunno, maybe you need to meet women with more imagination, and less give a damn about current affairs.

I've pretty much always been a gamer too. We had an Atari when I was little, and we eventually got a Nintendo, and later a Playstation... then when I finally got a computer, I got some games for that, and yeah... I don't see any point in stopping, I enjoy it too much.

As for D&D, Crow told me about it, and sounded like fun, so I tried it when I came up... I don't see a point in stopping that either lol.

I'm not really qualified for anything other than other entry level positions, and I don't want risk taking a lower paying job with worse health benefits. And the stuff that tend to pop up on my job listing email is stuff that I'm not qualified for, or it's far the fuck away.

Well you know, I'm not young, pretty, or an ass kiss, so when *I* come of for promotion, I get denied, but when some cute little bubble-head that's only been there six months says SHE need to make more money, they THROW a promotion at her >.<

It's frustrating. I KNOW my supervisor wants me to take over his position, especially now that the tool tech's dick assery is jeopardizing his job, but like I keep telling him, it will NEVER happen. There are THREE female supervisors in that store, and as of a couple weeks ago NO female managers. If the position isn't related to the front end, or customer services, they're NOT going to put a woman in it.

Yup. Same at my place. If your pretty, and arse licker or an agency member if staff that they can mould to do what they want. You'll get a promotion. I've applied a few times. Admitadly I've made some mistakes in the interview. But I was way more qualified and suitable for the job than the people they ended up giving it too.. -shrug-

You should go for supervisor if it comes up your clever enough for it. And you know how the place works. You'd be good. And you wouldn't have to deal with all the customers as much ;D lol

Oh yes I'd have to deal with customers just as much. In my department, the supervisor is as much desk coverage as anything else, they just ALSO have to deal with the extra duties that come with being a supervisor... though I suppose one could argue that they get Mondays to do paperwork, so THAT'S something.

It's never a question of being clever enough, I'm smarter than most of the people I work with, and I'm not saying that to brag or be an ass, it's just a fact... but I also don't kiss ass, and I don't roll over and let people yell at ME when it's something that isn't within MY control. So you know... that means I'm not management material >.>
