So I've been wondering. I'm thinking of levelling all crafting classes eventually. But gear and space saving wise.. What's the best way to go? Should I level all to say lvl 10? Then increase the gear and keep doing that every so many levels. Or lvl one to 50 but keep each bit of gear and reuse it? (Obv the latter takes up a lot of space) Any tips or ideas?

I would start getting all up to 15 for the cross class skills. Though I'm not really a crafter, but I think it's a good way to go about it.

Take them all up to 15 first... and from there I would suggest taking WVR to 50, because then you can MAKE pretty much all your gear as you need it, and just convert it when it spirit binds and make new.

Ahhhhh ok. So weaver makes most of the gear. Cool. Thank you very much.

It makes just about ALL of the crafting gear, except for a couple gloves, which are leatherworker, a couple of the shoes, which are carpenter, and the magnifiers, which are goldsmith. Best strategy once you get weaver to 50 is to make everything you can, as you need it, and then just accept the item reward for the shit you CAN'T make.

Ok nice.. That will be my plan for the crafting levels then. Eventually i get a little less time than I'd like to dedicatedly level a class. Still got a lot that of time that I need to spend on my main tank. He needs his pretty crown and pretty pants. And hopefully the allagan belt if I ever get into coil. Lol But I do wanna level all the crafting classes and the gathering classes and become kinda self sufficient.

I've kinda had a hard time leveling crafting classes too, since it seems like I never have enough time off to work on those AND do all the dungeon busy-work, and leveling for battle classes. I WANT to take miner, and then start working on blacksmith, but when will I have time to do that around dailies, and CT and Myth-grinding, and work, you know?

Yeah I defo want the belt.. But for a silly reason. (I perfer the look of it on the profile screen) xD The week I have off is from the 12th of jan. Timing wise.. I get online after I finish work in the weekdays. Which is 5.30am GMT so that's like mid afternoon for you? Bit during my week off I will be pushing for a peak time slot to get into a coil group.

Yeah.. Crafting is like a time off kinda job.. I did a burst of it last time I had a week off. I find the myth hunting side of the game a little more of a priority. CT I'll be but I won't DF it alone lol. Dailies.. I haven't really got into them.. Are they worth it? I know there's a mount or two involved..

The dailies are a nice easy way to get philo tomes, and they're ESPECIALLY worth it if you ARE crafting, because you can buy mats from the beast tribe vendors for WAY cheaper than they sell on the market, AND the prices get cheaper as you go up in rank with the tribes.
I have D&D tonight, but when I get home from that, I'll CT with you Garth, if you're still on.
