I'm 98% sure all of us on here are gamers for life, so we all clearly have played and play other games. Let's discuss some of those games in here.
I just saw the new Dark Souls II trailer, me and Busta were big into Dark Souls along with Terra (he was on the 360 tho, bleh) so I'm definitely gonna pick this up day one and lock myself away for an extended period of time, I'm really looking forward to Dual Wielding in this, anybody else a Dark Souls fan or some other games?

I have demons souls and dark soul. It took me like a year to beat the first slime boss on demons souls. And I haven't played dark souls. Brought it in sale. I got them both around the time I really went off gaming. Hunting for trophies had ruined gaming for me.. So I took half a year off, became miserable and grumpy and ended up buying XIV which got me back into gaming  And here I am still. Sorry guys  |

I FUCKING LOVE DEMONS SOULS AND DARK SOULS!, Dark souls 2 is my most anticipated game of this year. i must have plowed about 2000 hours into the others I CANT WAIT!
Very interested in what Capcom is doing with Deep Down aswell, and really looking forward to lightning returns.
This being said I have a ton of game I should be playing but find myself playing FFXIV all the time lol, maybe now that we have a house I can give my PS4 some love, I picked it up on South African launch day with Killzone, NFS Rivals and Assassins Creed black flag and Iv'e maybe played an hour of each - assassins creed looks like a serious return to form for that series so really want to get into that, unfortunately I don't have a lot friends that play NFS so although I really enjoy the game the best bit was competing with friends for speed challenges and times and so forth.
There's also a ton of game i have un finished on PS3 - GTA5, Remember me, DMC, GT 6, catherine.... the list is depressing, I need more time for games.

I'm in the same boat Juno. Got ps4 will killzone battlefield and ACIV hardly touched. PS3 list is massive.. I can't even begin to list them.. Lol. I have Nfs but I brought it cheap on the ps3 store, hoping it would be a 10 pound ps4 upgrade. It wasn't  |

Well. What really gotten me into games was Super Mario bros 3! And the Zelda Series. Especially Ocarina of Time, which is - for me - the best game ever. I also enjoyed a lot of Goldeneye 64.
On my computer I enjoyed Starcraft Broodwar and the Warcraft III Custom map, Dota. Games like HoN And LoL stole everything from Dota and are, in my opinions dumbed down version of it. Dota II is pretty good, since it's based directly on Dota. I also played a bit of Starcraft II.
Before FFXIV came out i mostly played Diablo III and Dota II.

Yea FF14 has a shit ton of Games piling up for me, I've got Psychonauts to finish and Armored Core:Verdict Day, Dragon's Crown and Zone of the Enders HD collection all waiting to be beaten. maybe i'll just set a weekend aside and marathon real quick. What kind of build/s did you run in Dark Souls Jajuno? I was one of those nerds who ran an Artorias build, Dark Moon Blade for life too |

I was one of those nerds who ran an Artorias build, Dark Moon Blade for life too Ive messed around with a ton of builds, for PVE i love my tank - Str build with Iron Tarkus armour and that Black Knight Halberd which is so OP and much poise. I probably get the most fun from dex builds though, shadow theif - parry - repost - backstab - roll -roll -roll As for covenant, Forest hunter all the way but i do enjoy being a dickwraith too. |

Oh man Dragon's Dogma is another game that ate up way too much of my time. I was one of those Face Roll lvl200 Rangers, Gold Dragon Forged Revenant's Wail and Dragon's Glaze, stacks some Conquer's periapts then Spam Ten-Fold Arrow with Explosive arrows and watch every enemy except online Ur-Dragon have it's HP just fucking melt. It was so dumb to watch and do, didn't matter what level my pawns were they were just their to carry more arrows and periapts. Lumi we never talked about Fighting Games, :3

I picked up Dragon Age 2 for the pc since it was like $5, and I've been playing that off and on between FFXIV. I actually have it, and all of its expansions for the PS3, but I'd have to kick Crow off his comp so I could use the GAMING RIG to play it, and I'm not that cruel. We have Dragon's Dogma, which I intended to play, but never got around to, and now see previous reason. I also have both Borderlands games (played the shit our of 2, but haven't played one yet), and I was working on Rogue Legacy for a while, but 1) I'm bad at that kind of game, even if I was enjoying it, and 2) the analogue stick on my Xbox controller sticks, which is VERY dangerous when platforming over deadly spikes.
I mostly play rpgs, and a few fighting games, and Dynasty Warrior style games. I'm a pathetic fucking WHORE for Kingdom Hearts, and I WILL buy it, even if it's bad... except for whatever one was the shitty cellphone port, and the HD remake of all the games I hated.
Crow had Demons Souls, and he and his brother played it for a while, and after watching them, I decided that I would never play it, or anything else in that series, because I play games to have FUN, and that game looked like the opposite of that.

Naw Souls games are the best, especially when you have a companion or two. Me and Busta would just Wombo Combo everything with a big shield and huge swords. look at this shit and tell me this game isn't fun.

Oh man! That wall video is hilarious. I love me some dark souls. I must have 300+ hours on PS3 and 80 odd hours on PC. Love the PC's DSFix but hate the fact GFWL keeps logging me out. I was an early adopter of Demons Souls too buying the Hong Kong version before it released in the EU. My best invasion story has to be when I was invaded by a dude wearing nothing but a loin cloth. He then proceeded to drop a dung pie in front of me waved and left. It took me a while to realise he just invaded me bollock naked, took a shit in my world and left. :3 I searched for him on Craigslist but never found him again. I just pre-ordered the collectors edition of DS2 last night. I'm avoiding everything about it like the plague though so nothing will be spoiled. Other games I like is everything. Have a xbox, ps3, Ps4, Vita and a pretty high end PC. seem to have the same problem as everyone though. No Goddamn time. |
