Odd Job's Housing

2.1 is coming out soon, and that means Housing for the guild. This house is going to be expensive, but it'll give us a cool place to hang out in game, a place to call our own. As of right now to my knowledge there is no plan we have in place to pay for the house and things that go with it, and it's a bit much to expect only a handful of players to pay for it so I'm calling on all Odd Job members to try and donate at least 25k Gil for the housing. More is obviously welcome, but 25k isn't a huge sum to ask. The more people who donate the faster we can get the housing set up. If we go over the cost of the house we end up getting somehow, we'll use the excess for furnishings in the house. This isn't mandatory, you aren't gonna be banned from the house if you don't cough up the dough, but we should all chip in to better our Free Company.

Everyone should be able to donate. The wealthiest of us have to contribute the most. I'll happily donate gil.

I think that people should donate what feels right, not feel obliged. I plan on donating time gathering resources that people can craft into things to sell for housing money.

Tom's our Fearless Leader, give him teh money if you don't have access to the gil Tab , again no one should feel pressured into this. If you dont have the gil or what not you won't get booted from the FC or somthing stupid for not donating. People who donated shouldn't feel slighted if some people aren't contributing.But that being said, as many people who can chip in as possible should tho.

Sooo guys was thinking would anyone like to share some Gil earning secrets with me coz I really wanna get a FC house and were all apparently gonna need to earN Gil like crazy to even buy the land.
And I wanna do the best I can to contribute but I'm hopeless at Gil making
So any tips would be greatly appreciated guys

Cotton bolls, flax, and desert saffron. They're all botanist gathered items, and you can make MAD LOOTS with them. Also base materials for crafting classes, like cloth, yarn, lumber, and ingots. They go faster if you sell them in stacks of 10, instead of full stacks =3

Fishing wise, silver sharks, red coral, Mahi Mahi, black sole are all good sellers and the giantpole minion goes for around 10k but that market seems to be tailing off. I also SB acc while I fish ad sell the materia as well. I'm sure after the patch there will be new ways to make gill as well, we will need to see what the treasure hunts yield and so on. I am hoping the outlook after the patch wont be as bad as it is now.

I DO understand why ppl are outraged over the prices pretty sure the smallest one we can be is 8mil which isn't as bad as some servers lol
